Primiaty Natalia Sabu Kopong (Asty) is passionate about working alongside local and remote communities. She is interested in community empowerment, social-political development, policy intervention, social impact assessment, and Monitoring & Evaluation. She worked as a community development officer before completing her Master’s degree in Master of Development Practice, The University of Queensland with Australia Awards Scholarships.
Currently, she is working as a part-time Lecturer in Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pembangunan Masyarakat and working alongside the youth age group in her area in literacy and combating the Malaria problem. In the project she will be the Government and Community Coordinator, working alongside Alor communities to develop the local policy intervention for thresher shark conservation.
